Our Professional Home Inspections are only performed by NYS State Licensed Professional Engineers. Not every Licensed Home Inspector is a Professional Engineer (PE). Make sure you request a Professional Engineer (PE) when you need a home inspection. While NYS does license "Home Inspectors", under current law home inspectors cannot provide "engineering services". By law, in practically all states, a Licensed Professional Engineer is the only one who can legally render an opinion as to the structural integrity of an existing building.
