Kate Turney : Garden Designer

Kate Turney has been designing and building landscapes in Manhattan, Baltimore, DC and the adjacent countryside since 2001. She has worked in many aspects of the horticultural industry previous to becoming a landscape designer, from wholesale nurseries through landscape architecture firms, providing graphic design services and gardening services.

Kate's background is in fine arts and landscape design. She studied landscape design at the prestigious New York Botanical Garden program and has worked for several of the top design/build firms in the region.

Areas of expertise include urban residential design, Board and DOB approvals, project management, and ecological garden design.
